A dirt biker fell thirty feet down an embankment on Low Gap Road west of Ukiah this afternoon and suffered a major head injury.

The Incident Commander requested a medevac around 4:11 p.m. and began the process of extricating the patient from where they had fallen thirty feet down from the roadway approximately 5-6 miles up Low Gap Road from the Ukiah Valley floor.

The air ambulance is reportedly going to land close to the scene.

The incident occurred around 3:10 p.m. and it is unclear if the dirtbike leaving the roadway was the result of a collision or losing control of the bike.
