Mendo Pride 2023 celebrated love and inclusion in Mendocino County, Saturday, May 20, 2023 at THE  HOPLAND TAP, Highway 101 in Hopland, California. Mendo Pride is a collaborative effort of community  members and organizations committed to promoting LGBTQI+ rights and acceptance in our rural county.

Mendo Pride 2023 would like to thank the following organizations:

First and foremost, Ron and Cheryl, owners of the Hopland Tap for hosting this event, especially in light of the  current climate of anti-LGBTQI legislation, including Drag Shows, across the United States. It truly is the local  community members who step up and create safe spaces for everyone in their community who need to be  thanked “from the rooftops” right now.

Secondly, this event would not have happened without the sponsorship of The Rykken and Skull Memorial  LGBT Fund and ACLC (Alta California Leather Corps) who stepped up as our non-profit sponsor. Nine Members  of ACLC represented by organizing, representing, performing and volunteering during the event itself.

Thirdly, thank you to all our gracious vendors, local businesses, wineries and breweries who took a chance on  Mendo Pride 2003:

  1. Why can’t people just be gay. Why do you guys have to like, be half naked all the time? Why do you have to be half naked in public all the time? Why do you have to literally be showing your dicks off to children during parades?! What the fuck!!

And why is it that you seek the need to show off your graphic displays of sexual degeneracy in public?

    • Everything you mentioned straight people do too. I was just at the county fair, I saw it. At least the gays are raising money to help people. Put on a straight pride benefit if you want, or a spaghetti fundraiser like the schools do. Is showing tits ok with you? Cause seems like womens tits are out all the time, why not a little cock now and then?

      • Whether you are straight or gay or whatever it’s against the law, it’s called indecent exposure. It’s too bad that we have become a Country of no laws. Be whatever you want to be, but I get to choose whether or not I support it, I think this is still America.

  2. Dang dang dang. Beauty is beauty. Man or woman. Looks good to me. Or are you that closed minded to not realize this fact. I prefer the female variety. But who the hell cares.
