The Northern Mendocino Ecosystem Recovery Alliance is requesting Local Artist submissions for our Logo Contest. The logo needs to work at large or small scale and in color or black and white.

We’ve tossed around ideas of a winding river and a sprouting acorn with roots but use your imagination to match a design to our mission. Please read our mission statement below and check out www.nm-era.org to get a better feel for our non-profit organization.

Our mission is to foster fire resilience and responsible land care in our communities by acquiring and administering grants for projects that employ local workers and contractors to do the real work of restoring our forests, grasslands, and economy. We will establish programs to train people to do land restoration work, educate the public on these issues, research and develop methods to use forest products in sustainable ways while addressing the climate crisis and ecological restoration of our region. Please send your logo art along with your name and contact information to contact@nm-era.org or mail to N.M.E.R.A., 58974 HWY 101 N., Leggett, CA 95585. Submissions will be accepted through July 11, 2023 and the winner will be announced on July 21, 2023. The winning logo’s designer will receive a $100 prize.
