A traffic accident has tragically proven fatal this morning east of Manchester.
Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicated a vehicle went off the side of Mountain View Road around 10:10 a.m.
First responders converged on the 40400 block of Mountain View Road where they found a person trapped in the vehicle.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the scene but canceled when first responders determined the occupant was deceased.
