A vehicle pursuit in Ukiah’s Westside turned to a ground search after two men reportedly foot bailed near the golf course adjacent to Todd Grove Park.

Scanner traffic indicated that two white male adults (one described as wearing a “San Francisco” hat) fled police after they attempted a stop near Yokayo Elementary around 3:15 p.m.

The men reportedly ran onto the golf course towards the area of Low Gap Park.

Ukiah Police Department, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, and the California Highway Patrol have converged on the area and have deployed an unmanned aerial vehicle to search for the men from above.

UPDATE 4:09 p.m.: The suspects are still at large. Law enforcement reported they located a magazine in the vehicle leading them to believe the suspects might be armed.
