Air Ambulance Deployed After ‘Traumatic Injury Due to Hoof’ in Potter Valley

Emergency personnel are at the scene of a medical incident in Potter Valley this afternoon after a patient suffered a traumatic injury from a hoof.

Scanner traffic began around 6:27 p.m. indicating the accident occurred on Pine Avenue.

An air ambulance is on its way to medevac the patient from the scene.


UPDATE 7:09 p.m.: The Incident Commander reported the patient has been loaded into the air ambulance to be transported to an out of the area hospital.
