An influx of 911 calls came into the emergency dispatch center in Mendocino County at about 11:14 p.m. reporting that three to four shots were fired in the area of Orchard Park in Ukiah at a group of about 15 juveniles. The callers reported that the occupants of a black, two door, Honda fired the shots and multiple of those fired at were screaming.

The vehicle (which was also reported as a possible Tesla) then reportedly fled southbound on Orchard Avenue.

None of the 15 juveniles were injured, according to an officer on scene.

By about 11:25 p.m., officers reported over the scanner finding at least two casings and the roadway was closed as they searched for evidence.

By 12:30 p.m., an officer reported that all the juveniles were returned safely to their parents or guardians.
