Two structures ignited early this morning in Clearlake. Firefighters stopped the incident from spreading into nearby structures and vegetation but sadly two burn victims were transported to out-of-area hospitals via air ambulance.

The incident began around 12:55 a.m. near Bush Street and 13th Street. Early reports indicated two structures were fully involved with flames threatening other structures nearby and throwing spot fires into nearby vegetation. This prompted a full wildland response.

Once on scene, first responders located two burn patients who required medical treatment prompting a medevac via air ambulance.

Thank you to On the Scanner Lake County for alerting us to the incident and providing information.
