A motorcycle struck a pickup truck this morning on State Route 253 just west of Ukiah prompting an air ambulance to be dispatched.
Reports from the scene indicate the motorcycle rider is conscious and the southbound lane is blocked due to the collision.
Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate the collision occurred around 10:30 a.m. approximately one mile west of the intersection of SR-253 and South State Street.
The air ambulance is set to land at Adventist Health Ukiah Valley to transport the patient to an out-of-area hospital.
