A vehicle collided with a tree this evening near Ukiah’s Todd Grove Park tragically resulting in a fatality.
Scanner traffic beginning around 5:30 p.m. indicated that one vehicle had major damage on the 500 block of Park Boulevard after it had driven off the roadway into a tree.
Two occupants were reportedly in the vehicle. One suffered moderate injuries and the other succumbed to traumatic injuries affecting multiple limbs and the chest.
Roadways near the incident were temporarily blocked off while first responders worked to extricate the occupants and transport the patient with moderate injuries via air ambulance to a hospital.
