Law enforcement was engaged in a high-speed vehicle pursuit along State Route 20 east of Clearlake and successfully apprehended the suspect.

The latest information indicates the vehicle was driving at high rates of speed eastbound on Ogulin Canyon Road before law enforcement successfully pulled the vehicle over and apprehended the driver.

At the beginning of the pursuit, the vehicle was driving west towards the intersection of State Route 20 and State Route 53 at speeds upwards of 90 miles/hour.

Police had established a spike strip in the area of the roundabout located at the intersection of SR-20 and SR-53.

The make and model of the vehicle and the initial reason law enforcement attempted to pull the vehicle over is unknown at this time.
