Emergency personnel are converging east of Dos Rios this afternoon after a solo vehicle crashed off the side of State Route 162.
When the Incident Commander arrived on the scene, he reported the truck had landed on the riverbed approximately 100′ below State Route 162. The single occupant reportedly suffered moderate/major injuries as a result of the crash.
Initial reports of the accident emerged around 12:55 p.m. indicating the incident occurred near mile marker 13 of State Route 162.
Initially an air ambulance was requested to the scene but later canceled.
