One Dead After Motorcycle and Vehicle Collide in Clearlake

A motorcyclist is dead this morning in Clearlake after colliding with a vehicle and authorities have closed down a neighborhood roadway as a result.

The collision occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. near the intersection of Mullen Avenue and Pearl Avenue.

Scanner traffic indicated an air ambulance was initially requested before first responders on the scene declared the motorcyclist an 11-44 (code for fatal).

An alert issued by the Clearlake Police Department states that Mullen Avenue from Pearl Avenue to Lakeshore Drive is currently closed due to the collision are drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
