On Tuesday, February 13th, at approximately 10:45 am, a deputy conducted a traffic stop near Lakeville Highway and Baywood Drive in Petaluma. During the traffic stop, the deputy learned the driver had a misdemeanor arrest warrant out of Mendocino County and was told there was a methamphetamine pipe in the vehicle.

The deputy and his K9 partner conducted a sniff of the vehicle for narcotics and alerted to dog treat boxes inside of the vehicle. The deputy then searched the vehicle and found the dog treat boxes contained packages of methamphetamine. The deputy also located additional packages of methamphetamine inside of a cat litter box.

There were ten packages (one-pound each) of methamphetamine located.

The suspect, 41 year old Angelina Gutierrez, was booked into Sonoma County Jail for felony transportation of a controlled substance and her misdemeanor arrest warrant. Gutierrez bail was $0 and she was later released from custody.

  1. QUESTION. Why was she released with no bail? Hundreds of thousands of dollars in Meth in her car? Free to go and get more , maybe she will get more , this time not caught! And sell to our family members!! Is there an answer????

    • This is why things are as the are! Republicans have been fighting this for a long time! Watch Adam Schif and Nancy Pelosi do nothing more than fight anything that makes sense! How many times do you need to see them do 40 million dollar investigations that produced nothing? And when there wasn’t anything to convict or impeach Trump they manufactured lies to try and destroy him. Trust me I’m no Trump fan as his mouth is needs to be checked. Yet his Polocies were getting back to law and order. Defund the police really people as you watched cities burn and Riots in the streets and looting small businesses that forced mom and pop run businesses to close shop! So please V OTE for Lawfullness and end corruption in Washington that will trickle down to local state & County.

      • Oh brother. This is mot a federal issue.
Review the source. The headline said 10 pounds then 10 packages in the story. If the jail is full she has to be released if thete is no jusge to deyermine a bond she pays zero until her court date.
        Anyone in legal agree?

      • More cops isn’t the answer. As you see the cops got her. Thats like putting addicts in jail. They get out and do it again. Change the system! Educate, council, rehab, and jobs. That’s where you want money to go. At least if you want to see change other then some Russian or Hitler type dictatorship. And teach your kids right and wrong! Bring back spanking I never once repeated the same mistake I got whooped for!

  2. No bail – WOW. That’s corrupt CA for you. Gavin and Nancy cotinue stepping “over and around” the massive drug issues, and claim “we are fighting against the drugs in this state”. Um – NO YOU’RE NOT. In fact, quite the opposite. You now have laws giving leniency to criminals, and drug related crime. Absolutely tragic.

  3. That’s a fair amount of crystal to be sure.Probably enough give or take to keep the seedier parts of lake county up and running for a week or so for instance?

  4. So once had Methheads renting on both sides of house. One lost job and car. Then tore a fence down at 3am…sawed up and made a pathway. Then sawed into kitchen cabinets, sawed a new doorway, through a closet and trashed appliances. Stole mail and prowled nighborhood. The other house no one worked, had domestic violence noises, every night. Large fires built on wood decks. And all night long, noises, going on while renter basically destroyed the beautiful home. Then when finally evicted, threatened to set house on fire. But this meth dealer is free to go?
To disappear? This is what this governor and leaders are directly doing….to our neighborhoods. And now the liberal governor wants more money, to free house, this lady, I am sure, to make others feel guilty, that a person is homeless? Like it’s societies fault? Seriously liberal ideology and leaders are too stubborn and ignorant to see mistakes with lenient laws. They can never admit it has made California horrible in ways never before experienced. That’s the real crime. No humility or acknowledging mistakes in leaders passing certain laws. Egomaniacs never see the truth.
