Motorcyclist Suffers Major Injuries in SR-20 Crash—Air Ambulance Deployed

Categories:

A solo motorcyclist reportedly suffered major injuries today on State Route 20 between Calpella and Blue Lakes. An air ambulance has been deployed.

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page indicate the accident occurred around 12:22 p.m. when a reporting party reached out via a callbox along SR-20 of a motorcycle down on the eastbound side of the roadway.

When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they reported the patient had suffered “possible major injuries” and requested an air ambulance. The request was accepted and the craft will be landing at the rock quarry near mile marker 41 along SR-20.
