Noyo Harbor Inn, a luxury boutique hotel property on the Mendocino Coast, has been named to the Select Registry Distinguished Inns of North America.

“We are pleased to have our inn recognized and welcomed into the fold of such a prestigious portfolio of lodging properties,” said Noyo Harbor Inn General Manager Scott Schneider.

Since 1972, Select Registry Distinguished Inns of North America has curated a portfolio of quality-assured and handpicked properties representing the gold standard in craft hospitality. Its upscale properties include more than 260 lodges, luxury cabins and boutique hotels that are located in a variety of settings across the United States. The organization’s members undergo a rigorous evaluation for everything from cleanliness to hospitality in order to be selected.

“We work hard to keep the caliber high in every aspect of our inn, restaurant and property,” Schneider said. “For example, our on-site HarborView Bistro & Bar has been honored as a Wine Spectator Restaurant Award winner for a second consecutive year, and we have one of the most innovative bar managers in the region.”

Indeed, perched on a ridge overlooking the Noyo River and the Pacific Ocean in Fort Bragg, the Noyo Harbor Inn fuses historic charm with immaculate modern amenities. This 15-room luxury property offers guests private decks, gas fireplaces, soaking tubs, spa services, sumptuous linens, 42-inch flat-screen televisions, and French-press coffee makers. The on-site, full-service HarborView Bistro & Bar is beloved for its fresh, California coastal cuisine, cozy paneled interiors, idyllic outdoor dining, and a 1920s-style bar with house-made bitters and specialty cocktails.

Outdoor paths invite guests to explore the lush grounds, dog park, and organic kitchen garden. Guests can also lounge in the centerpiece gazebo before wandering down to the working harbor below, where kayaks, paddle boarders, and a fish market create a lively atmosphere. Meanwhile, Fort Bragg’s quaint downtown is an easy five-minute drive away, as are coastal hiking trails and excursions on the famed Skunk Train, which traces the first tracks by the California Western Railroad laid through California’s majestic redwoods.
