On 8/01/2024, Clearlake Police, Clearlake Code Enforcement Officers, and the Lake County DA’s Office served search warrants at three residences on 26th Avenue in Clearlake.

During the service of the warrants, six hundred twenty-seven (627) marijuana plants were seized. Additionally, processed marijuana (over 200 pounds), firearms, and ammunition were seized. The residences had rooms inside that were set up for indoor growing and/or drying. However, most of the marijuana plants were outdoors in hoop houses. Based on the size of the growing operations and other factors, they were determined to be unlawful.

Three people were arrested for multiple charges related to the illegal growing operation and several other people had charges referred to the district attorney’s office.

  1. The cops in Clearlake sure have been busy last few days. Looks like a real sloppy grow site. Scraggly nasty plants. Good riddance.

  2. Isn’t it a little hard to no notice whoop house in city limits? Did they just suddenly realize there was one on this property or is the bust .uch more profit able for the city if the plants are bigger?
