Let It Glow! Ukiah Valley’s holiday light competition returns for a festive 5th year

The 5th annual Ukiah Valley Let it Glow Holiday Light Competition is a way for residents to get into the holiday spirit! Participants can sign up online at https://forms.gle/9Woy9VsREcCJEh4q9 until December 6th at noon. There is no cost to participate.

Addresses of participating residential homes and commercial buildings will be updated Monday through Friday starting December 6th on the event’s website www.cityofukiah.com/letitglow. Spectators can vote by text (707) 621-5510 until December 22nd at 11:59 pm. Winners will be awarded on December 23rd live on the City of Ukiah Recreation Facebook page after 5 pm.

To encourage participation and the use of LED lights, the City of Ukiah Electric Utility is offering a rebate program for new purchases on lights for residents who live within city limits.

This competition is also open to all residential homes in the Ukiah Valley including Calpella, Talmage, Hopland, and Redwood Valley area.

The top 3 homes within the City of Ukiah city limits and top 3 homes outside of city limits will be awarded $350 each.
