Last year’s event was a full house and raised a record-breaking $11,500. This year, the Waldorf School aims to surpass that milestone and set a new fundraising record! Participants will compete for cash prizes in this original Poker Tournament, known for its lively atmosphere and strong community spirit.
“The WSMC Poker Tournament is my favorite event of the year,” said Tara Moratti, 2024 second-place winner. “I started playing poker for the first time at this event years ago and have looked forward to it every year since. It’s a friendly yet competitive tournament hosted by the Waldorf School of Mendocino County and proudly sponsored by Sparetime Supply. Together, they create a welcoming atmosphere with great food, drinks, and a perfect mix of professional poker players, mid-range enthusiasts, and novices alike. It’s always an enjoyable and exciting night! I’m signed up and hope to see you there.”
