
Authorities are searching for a missing 14-year-old boy last seen Sunday afternoon near the Big Beach area of Hidden Valley Lake in Lake County.
As per a Facebook post from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Andrew Roberts of Clearlake was part of a group trip and reportedly told others around 4:15 p.m. that he was heading to the pool. He has not been seen or heard from since.
Andrew is described as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, 115 pounds, with dark blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a blue “Konocti Pathfinders” shirt, black pants — possibly with blue swim trunks underneath — and carrying a gray backpack.
Emergency crews have been actively searching the area since the report of his disappearance. Scanner traffic indicates authorities are concentrating efforts around Big Beach, where the teen was last seen, and have dispatched a dive team to the nearby marina. Teams also stated their intention to search the adjacent Little Beach area as operations continue into the evening hours.

UPDATE 10:30 p.m.: The search for 14-year-old Andrew Roberts is intensifying as night falls over Hidden Valley Lake. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Search & Rescue teams, including K9 Sadie, were deployed around 6:30 p.m.
Crews from CAL FIRE, KCORP, the North Shore Dive Team, South Lake Fire, and Hidden Valley Security have joined the urgent effort to locate the missing teen.
