
A vegetation fire broke out Saturday morning near Highway 20 and Pomo Way between the communities of Upper Lake and Nice, quickly drawing a multi-agency response.
Scanner traffic and Cal Fire LNU confirm the Pomo Fire is approximately 3 acres in size with 0% containment as of 11 a.m. Structures in the area are reported to be threatened, and air resources have been ordered to assist.
The blaze was first spotted around 10:43 a.m. via the Upper Lake ALERTCalifornia camera.
Traffic along Highway 20 is reportedly slowed as crews work to contain the fire, according to Caltrans Quick Map.
UPDATE 11:36 a.m.: According to scanner traffic, the Incident Commander has reported that forward progress of the fire has been stopped. Several incoming units are now being canceled.
