“The first UPD officer to arrive on scene located four post office employees holding a suspect (later identified as Timothy Raybould) to the ground. The officer exited his patrol vehicle and quickly detained Raybould in handcuffs with the assistance of the post office employees. While performing a pat-search of Raybould the officer located a loaded magazine to a .40 caliber Glock pistol in Raybould’s pants pocket.”

A vehicle fire in Round Valley has rapidly evolved in to a 20 acre wildfire dubbed the “Logan Incident” with a moderate rate of spread and is a direct threat to nearby structures. The fire started at approximately 3:00 pm and is located near Highway 162 and Logan Lane.
Sherwood Oaks Outbreak Update: Three Patients Transferred to Local Hospital and Another Patient Passes
“The decision was made to transfer three of Sherwood Oaks Covid positive residents to Adventist Health Mendocino Coast for admission. This quick action helped relieve an unsustainable strain on the limited nursing resources at Sherwood Oaks, until more temporary nurses arrive next week.”
“The filing period began Monday July 13 and will continue through August 7, 2020 according to Assessor-County Clerk Recorder Katrina Bartolomie. If an incumbent fails to file for their seat, the filing deadline for that race will be extended through August 12, 2020.”
At 5:21 am, California Highway Patrol, Hopland Fire, Cloverdale Fire, and other local agencies were dispatched to US 101 where a Silver Dodge pickup had gone off the roadway.

📍The dashboard reflects the two most recent deaths of patients at Fort Bragg’s Sherwood Oaks skilled nursing facility and still needs to be update for this evening’s 3rd death. Seven of the county’s deaths originate from the Sherwood Oaks outbreak, one death is from a patient at Willits’s Howard Memorial Hospital, and one death is from a resident who contracted the virus at a Mendocino County church and passed in a Marin County rehabilitation center.
“If an individual does not comply with the Mendocino County Facial Covering Order after being
asked to comply by an Enforcement Officer, Emergency Order No. 1 authorizes administrative
citations for failing to wear a facial covering, with fines of $100 for the first violation, $250 for the
second violation, and $500 for each subsequent violation.”
