Fire Buring Near Covelo

According to reporting from Paul McCarthy’s MendocinoSportsPlus and Danilla Sand’s Mendocino Action News, a vehicle fire in Round Valley has rapidly evolved in to a 20 acre wildfire dubbed the “Logan Incident” with a moderate rate of spread and is a direct threat to nearby structures. The fire started at approximately 3:00 pm and is located near Highway 162 and Logan Lane.

Cal Fire aircraft have been deployed and both local and state agencies engaging in a full wildland response
