According to information presented in an Anchorage Daily News article written by Tess Williams and a Facebook post by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, a Fort Bragg man is being held awaiting extradition to Alaska for “six charges of distribution of indecent material to a minor and one count each of online enticement and possession of child pornography” This information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty

According to Williams’s reporting, David Orellana “initiated a sexually explicit conversation with a teen from Naknek and exchanged more than 1,900 texts with the girl, troopers wrote in an online statement.”

The MCSO Facebook post states, “”Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Detectives assisted the Alaska State Department of Public Safety on the service of the search warrant on August 3, 2020 in Fort Bragg. He is being held on $20,000 bail and awaiting extradition to Alaska.”
