Sherwood Oaks Outbreak Update: COVID-19 Cases are Steady and Staff Shortages Improving

Categories:

The following is a brief press release written by the Medical Director of Sherwood Oaks Doctor John Cottle:

Sherwood Oaks is holding steady at this time. There have been no new diagnoses of Covid since Friday, and all of those afflicted are continuing the gradual process of recovery. One more staff member is returning to work today, having recovered.

Most of the workers and residents were again tested yesterday, the remainder to be completed today. As before, samples will be taken to the state lab in Richmond, with results expected late this week. The longstanding staff shortages are improving with the addition of several travelling nurses and nurse aides.
