Talia Rose’s photography, County Line Wild, captures the grace, fierceness, and beauty of the South Fork of the Eel river and its wildlife on the Mendocino and Humboldt County line. Living on the river in Piercy, Rose walks the banks every day documents what she sees.
In a recent Facebook post, Rose revisited one of her most powerful wildlife encounters photographing in 2018 a mountain lion taking refuge and moving through flora on the banks of the Eel.
Rose said in her post, “[t]here has been quite a bit of Mountain Lion energy online the past few days – and coincidentally it falls right on the two year anniversary of my own incredible Lion encounter – so I thought I would share the photos again.”
