According to the United States Geological Survey, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake rattled 9 kilometers west northwest of Cobb near the convergence of the Mendocino, Lake, and Sonoma County borders. The earthquake struck at 8:22 p.m. and was said to have a depth of 2.1 kilometers.
