According to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page, at 9:08 a.m. a Chevrolet Tahoe has rolled over on Highway 101 just south of Confusion Hill and first responders are on scene attempting CPR on a subject.
The accident has resulted in the closure of the southbound lane and personnel are attempting to set up one way traffic control.
The scanner indicates that a Reach air ambulance helicopter is enroute to the scene.
UPDATE 9:54 a.m.
According to scanner traffic, CPR has been halted and the driver has been declared deceased.
We just passed this awful accident and there were more CHP vehicles at this roll
Over than we have ever seen. We counted 8 CHP cars but no other law enforcement entities. I’m sorry for the driver.
The Tahoe must have been full to the ceiling with belonging as there was debris all over the road – more than an average car would carry. Appeared to be trash.
