Hard Closure of Brooktrails Drive and Birch Street in Brooktrails Due to Winter Conditions

Scanner traffic indicates a hard closure is being established on Brooktrails’s Birch Street and Brooktrails Drive. The closure of Birch Street will affect the entirety of the road from Sherwood Road to Clover Lane.

First responders on the scene are reporting several vehicles are stuck on the road due to the icy conditions.

Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office posted on their Facebook page that roads in the Brooktrails subdivision are extremely slippery due to snow fall. MCSO is urging motorists to “drive slow and be mindful of the dangerous road conditions. Please stay home if all possible during this winter storm.”
