CVS Now Offering Free COVID-19 Vaccination to Mendocino County Residents 65+ and Health Care Workers

Eligible Mendocino County residents interested in the COVID-19 vaccine can now receive them from CVS Pharmacy by going to CVS.com. Two groups are eligible to receive vaccinations from CVS: residents 65 years of age or older and health care workers.

CVS is offering the both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines which require two doses approximately one month apart. The CVS website says, “After two required doses, the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines have a 94% to 95% efficacy rate of protection against COVID-19.”
