Captain Van Patten explained a MCSO deputy attempted to stop a car after the driver threw a bottle out of the window and the driver fled. The driver stopped the vehicle in the area of Highway 101 near mile marker 53 in the area of Ryan’s creek and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white, male adult between 5′ 8”-5’10” wearing a tan sweatshirt, jeans, and a flat-billed hat, said Captain Van Patten.
