Rescuers Respond to Pomo Bluffs After Early Morning Jaunt Results in Man Falling Off Cliff

The following is a statement published by the Fort Bragg Police Department on their Facebook page:

Rescuers at Pomo Bluffs Parking responding to reports of the injured man [Pictures provided by the Fort Bragg Police Department]

This morning at 02:27 A.M., Officers from the Fort Bragg Police Department responded to Pomo Bluffs Park, for the report of a male subject, who had been walking on the cliffs, had fallen off and was down on the rocks injured. Officers arrived on scene and located the subject injured on the rocks down below the cliff. Fort Bragg Fire was requested for a cliff rescue. The rescue effort was helped by the Fort Bragg Fire Department, Mendocino County Sheriffs Office, US Coast Guard, Adventist Health Mendocino Coast Ambulance, and Reach 6. The subject was successfully rescued from the area and transported by medical personal.
