Vehicle Collides with Pole Bringing Lines Down on Old River Road Resulting in Closure of the Roadway

Old River Road is closed to thru traffic after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole near the 4000 block of Old River Road bringing a line down into the roadway.

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page indicates an unknown party crashed into the utility pole at approximately 8:54 a.m. The reporting party could not provide a description of the vehicle because they heard the crash, they did not see it.

PG&E has been dispatched to the scene to assess the downed lines and county roads personnel will be assisting with traffic control.
