Man Assaulted on Albion Ridge Road Hit with a Bar Possibly Breaking Ribs

Scanner traffic around 8:50 a.m. indicated that Mendocino County Sheriff Office deputies and medical personnel are responding to the 27000 block of Albion Ridge Road after a caller told dispatch they had been assaulted when a man used a bar to strike him reportedly “breaking ribs.”

Dispatch originally reported that the reporting party was uncooperative. Later, more information was garnered from the the reporting party when he told dispatch the suspect is a renter on the property.

UPDATE 9:30 a.m.

The incident commander told the dispatcher to cancel all incoming fire units saying there was sufficient fire at scene.
