Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate at approximately 9:10 p.m. a motorcycle and small silver sedan collided near the intersection of Highway 101 and North State Street requiring extensive medical response.
Two air ambulances and a ground ambulances have been dispatched. Over the scanner, a patient could be heard screaming and the CHP Traffic Incident Information page indicates the motorcyclist was at one point lying in the roadway.
One air ambulance will pick up a patient at the Ukiah Vally Medical Center and the other patient will be picked up at the Ukiah Airport, according to scanner traffic.
UPDATE 9:38 p.m.: FlightRadar24.com indicates one of the air ambulances is flying from Lake County to transport one of the patients involved in the traffic collision.
The scanner indicates that one patient is being transported by a ground ambulance to Ukiah Valley Medical Center.
