Male Suffers Traumatic Injuries After Falling 30 Feet from Tree Near Laytonville

At approximately 3:45 p.m. scanner traffic indicated medical personnel was requested to the 42000 block of Twin Pines Circle near Laytonville after a male fell thirty feet from a tree suffering traumatic injuries.

Reports indicate the patient is suffering from possible cervical spine trauma and the air ambulance said they could not respond to the scene due to smoke meaning the patient will be transported via ground ambulance.

Laytonville Fire, when responding to the scene, requested Mendocino County roads to address significant fire damage to the roads from a recent wildfire in the area.

UPDATE 4:05 p.m.: A ground ambulance reported they successfully picked up the patient and are transporting him to Howard Memorial Hospital in Willits
