Gusty northerly winds will increase through the day Monday in the wake of a dry cold front. The strongest winds will be found over exposed high terrain and north to south oriented valleys. While winds will calm in some valleys Tuesday morning, with some decent humidity recovery, winds will remain brisk across mountain ridges with poor recoveries. Winds will remain breezy on Tuesday with low afternoon humidity across much of the interior. These winds and low humidity, combined with still dry fuels across much of this area may lead to critical fire weather conditions. Visit weather.gov/eka for more details on your specific location.
