Scanner traffic at approximately 8:20 p.m. indicated law enforcement is responding to Van Damme State Beach after a male subject reportedly armed with a knife made stabbing motions at a woman who was concerned for her safety.
The knife-wielding suspect reportedly has an officer safety bulletin associated with him stating he has been hostile with law enforcement in the past.
The dispatcher stated both State Parks Officers and Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputies are making their way to the scene.
