[UPDATES]Officer Safety Alert Issued After Reports of Male with Bow and Arrows Making Threats Towards Law Enforcement in Ukiah

Information is sparse, but this evening at approximately 5:55 the California Highway Patrol issued an officer safety be on the lookout regarding an individual near Ukiah reportedly carrying a bow and arrow acting hostile and making threats towards law enforcement.

The specific location of the individual within Ukiah was not stated, but he was described as a Native American, a male adult wearing all black clothing.

UPDATE 6:42 p.m.: The dispatcher reported that the individual was the bow and arrows was sighted near 1400 Kuki Lane in Ukiah. Law enforcement is responding to the scene.

UPDATE 6:46 p.m.: A resident on the 1400 block of North Bush street, just a few hundred yards away from the 1400 Kuki residence, reported the subject with the bow and arrows came to the residence hoping to hide there.

The subject reportedly fled after not being allowed to hide at that location.
