Two Gunshots, Vehicle Peeling Out, Males Heard Yelling on Ukiah’s Laws Avenue

Scanner traffic at 10:08 p.m. indicates law enforcement is responding to Laws Avenue in Ukiah regarding reports of gunshots followed by the sound of a vehicle peeling out of the area and a group of males heard yelling.

One of the reporting parties told dispatch they watched two vehicles leave the scene from their vantage point on South Dora.

An officer on the scene reported the situation seemed under control and there was no obvious sign of the incident.

The dispatcher told law enforcement that two reporting parties had described hearing the gunshots.

UPDATE 10:21 p.m.: A law enforcement officer on the scene reported no signs of the shooting were located.

UPDATE 10:31 p.m.: Scanner traffic indicates that officers are out with a vehicle they suspect to have been involved with the gunshots.

UPDATE 10:34 p.m.: An officer on the scene investigating Laws Avenue said he was unable to locate any ballistics or evidence of the shooting.

  1. Yesterday while it was still daylight a little black car came flying across state street with 3 police cars in tow lights and sirens blazing! I expected to read about it on MendoFever.com.
