Hello, my name is Leanne and I am Katelin Teters mama. On 12-19-21 She was leaving Safeway after getting all the supplies she needs to make her famous chocolate bars for last-minute holiday gift baskets. Meanwhile, there was a high-speed chase that the CHP, Mendocino County Sheriffs Office, and the Local Ukiah PD were trying to apprehend. Unfortunately, the chase ended when he crashed the stolen vehicle into the taxicab she was in. She was in the back seat where most of the impact was. Thankfully she suffered moderate injuries’ however, the emotional pain, and trauma from this accident will be with her for a long time. Many of you know that Katelin is a small business owner, She operates Katelin’s Kitchen Ukiah. Where she cooks out of her home and provides home-cooked meals to people all over the Ukiah area. She has recently started making chocolate bars and sweets. This is the main source of income for her family of 3, Jon her boyfriend helps her to get the orders done and out the door. And Austen their 9.5-year-old son is their food taster.

She will need financial support at this time until she is able to provide for her family. This will help to pay for rent, buy food, pay the bills, get all the essentials for the home. By you simply sharing this and getting support and the much-needed help she deserves.

Katelin’s injuries were not life-threatening. She is still currently in the hospital and is being monitored as she did suffer from head trauma.
