Phase II of Hopkins Fire Debris Removal Operations Begins This Week

The following is a press release issued by the County of Mendocino:

Phase II consolidated debris removal operations for the 2021 Hopkins Fire began Monday, January 17th, 2022, and will be continuing until the work has been completed. Two work crews will be present in the area, one on Eastside Calpella Road and another on Lake Ridge Drive. Please use caution when traveling in the area as heavy equipment and work crews will be actively performing debris removal activities. There will also be crews operating in the area to assess hazardous trees during this period.

The State Debris Removal Call Center can be reached at 855-591-6128 for specific questions regarding the work.
