Santa Rosa Man Struck by Driver on State Route 20 Near Nice Dying from Injuries, Says CHP

On January 15, 2022, at 2235 hours, Sullivan was driving his 2015 Chrysler, eastbound on SR-20 at Hutchins Road. As Sullivan was driving a pedestrian to be named later was in the roadway for reasons still under investigation. Sullivan was unable to stop his vehicle in time before the front of his vehicle collided with the pedestrian. The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries on scene. Sullivan was not suspected of being under the influence of drug and/or alcohol.
