Grass Fire Burning in Hopland, Forward Progress Quickly Stopped

A one-and-a-half-acre fire is burning in the Sanel Valley near Old Hopland. The Incident Commander reported the fire is in the grass and its forward progress was quickly stopped.

Another fire in Redwood Valley was announced around 2:55 p.m. and several resources from the Hopland Fire were dispatched to that incident.
