Contractors Will Be Repairing Barn Roof at Van Damme State Park This Week

California State Parks is finishing roof repairs on the Spring Ranch barn at Van Damme State Park. A contractor will be on site during the day starting March 28, 2022.

Please be aware that lights and fans will be operating during the overnight hours for the duration of the work. The lights and fans are installed at night to deter bat use during construction.

California State Parks has been working with CDFW and a local bat expert to determine the best treatment plan to address the presence of bats.

Please respect closed areas and equipment during this work.
