Scanner traffic indicates that a single-wide trailer is fully involved near the intersection of Pingree Road and Olsen Road in Clearlake Oaks.
A firefighter at the scene reported that propane tanks are exploding as a result of the fire. A medic has been requested to the scene.
UPDATE 9:36 p.m.: The Incident Commander is requesting California Highway Patrol respond to the scene for traffic control in the area. State Route 20’s westbound lane is plugged up with emergency vehicles.
Also, PG&E has been requested to expedite to the scene because flames are starting to impinge on the nearby transmission line.
UPDATE 9:39 p.m.: The situation has escalated after powerlines were officially burned and are now down.
UPDATE 10:09 p.m.: The following is a screenshot of a video taken by Melissa Enyeart as she drove by the site of the trailer fire this evening.
The Incident Commander reported power is secured.
The Caltrans Quickmap shows traffic is backed up on State Route 20 as a result of the fire.
UPDATE 10:45 p.m: The Incident Commander reported the fire is contained and crews will be on the scene mopping up for an hour and a half.
