As of 1:05 p.m., scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a two-vehicle collision on the 1800 block of Ukiah’s North State Street has blocked the roadway and resulted in minor-moderate injury to at least one party.
Extrication is reportedly required due to a woman being stuck in one of the vehicles, both of which are majorly damaged.
The involved vehicles are described as a white Toyota hybrid and a silver Honda. Traffic controls are reportedly being put into place to allow some form of thru traffic.
UPDATE 1:47 p.m.: The CHP Traffic Incident Information page indicates a party involved with the collision is en route to Ukiah Valley Medical Center. The Incident Commander predicted the roadway will be cleared shortly.
UPDATE 1:53 p.m.: The following photograph was sent to us by Jaime Noé and shows crews on scene cleaning up the roadway.
UPDATE 2:17 p.m.: The Caltrans Quickmap indicates the roadway is clearing fast near the scene of the traffic collision.
