At approximately 8:00 p.m. this evening, a single vehicle overturned on Butts Canyon Road near the Lake/Napa County line resulting in two parties with major injuries requiring an airlift from the scene.
The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page indicated that the vehicle overturned in a ditch alongside the roadway and reports from the scene described one subject lying on the roadway and another pinned in the vehicle.
A CalStar helicopter and a CHP helicopter were dispatched to the scene to airlift patients for medical care.
