Yesterday around 7:45 p.m. scanner traffic indicated that a 63-year-old woman suffered significant injuries after she fell 60′ from a Fort Bragg cliff. The fall left her with head trauma and abrasions across her trunk and legs requiring an immediate medical evacuation.

When first responders arrived on the scene, they immediately called for an air ambulance. However, initial responses indicated that all were delayed. The soonest one could arrive was 70 minutes. Finally, Henry-1, Sonoma County’s emergency helicopter, accepted the assignment and picked the patient up at the Mendocino Coast Hospital.

We will reach out to Fort Bragg Fire Chief to get more details and update the story when we have more information.
