[UPDATE: Forward Progress Stopped] Lake County RV Fire Spreads to Nearby Vegetation

At approximately 8:18 p.m. a RV fire flared up in the Lake County town of Nice near the intersection of Pyle Road and Garden Court

The Incident Commander reported the RV is fully involved with spread into the nearby vegetation. He estimated about one-quarter acre of vegetation has burned.

Resources are coordinating as to how to best access the fire and decided to stage at the “bottom of Pyle Road.”

UPDATE 8:41 p.m.: The Incident Commander stated that forward progress on the fire has been stopped.

UPDATE 8:46 p.m.: The following video was provided by Sabrina Meek-Gudmundson, a resident nearby the fire. Appreciation to the On the Scanner Lake County Facebook page for bringing the video to our attention.
